Tip Tuesday: Wedding Band Guide

Wedding bands are meant to symbolize love and eternity so finding the perfect one for you is so important! When it comes to selecting your wedding band, where do you even start? There are so many traditional and unique styles to choose from! Today I'm sharing a quick breakdown a few of the most common styles and colors to give you a place to start!

Wedding Band Styles

Classic: Traditionally, wedding bands were simple and made of metal, without embellishments. Though this style has changed over the years, this continues to be a popular and timeless choice!

Eternity: Eternity bands feature diamonds or other gemstones around the entirety of the band. The eternity band has gained popularity in recent years and is a stunning choice for brides wanting to add even more bling!

Channel: This setting features diamonds or other gemstones that are nestled in the middle of two "channels" of precious metals. Often found in an eternity pattern, this is a beautiful choice!

Wedding Band Colors

Platinum: Platinum bands feature a white, silver finish, and are the heaviest of all the metals. Although platinum can scratch, it is still considered a highly durable metal.

Rose Gold: Rose gold is an alloy of pure 24 karat yellow gold, copper and silver. It gives off a pink, rose color.

White Gold: White gold is an alloy of gold and at least one white metal (usually nickel, silver, or palladium).

Yellow Gold: Yellow gold is made of pure gold mixed with alloy metals such as copper and zinc. The amount of pure gold a ring has is indicated in karats.
